Email Replies and Commenting

Any email reply to a post or a comment by an active user at your school will get turned into a new comment on that post. Post comments are visible on ParentPost to anyone who has permission to see the particular post.

Email notifications of comments are sent to recipients based on the following rules:

  • Email notifications for a comment on a School Post are sent to administrators and anyone who has previously commented on the post.
  • Email notifications for a comment on a Classroom Post (or multiple Classroom Post) are sent to administrators, the classroom’s teachers, and anyone who has previously commented on the post.
  • Email notifications for a comment on a Student Post (or multiple Student Post) are sent to administrators, the student’s teachers, and the student’s parents.

If you would like to send a private email to your school, please email your school administrator directly.

When replying to a post from your email please make sure it goes to the 'reply-to' address and not to support@schoolvine.com. Sometimes email applications do not use the 'reply-to' address when replying.   If you notice your message goes to support@schoolvine.com try replying again but make sure it is going to the 'reply-to' address from the original email.
